Welcome to Democratic Legislative District 20
Tabling
"Tabling" simply refers to setting up a table somewhere with information to give out to people passing by, with one or more LD20 volunteers present to answer questions and engage with interested people. We might generally have information on any timely topics we want to get out to the public - information on upcoming elections: candidates, polling places, dates and times, any current ballot propositions, etc. This is often a good opportunity to collect petition signatures for candidates or for ballot propositions as well. We always carry voter registration forms.
Locations can be anywhere we are likely to get a fair number of passers-by - spots we have used in the past include things like the Tumamoc Hill trailhead, various Pima Community College campuses, Antigone Books, several Public Library branches, events, etc.
