Passed May 18, 2026, 66% in favor

Full Text of the Resolution

US Military Budget

Passed March 23, 2026, unanimous

Whereas social services, medical care, education and food assistance are being cut;

Whereas Donald Trump does not unilaterally run the country and the U.S. does not - and should not - rule the world;

Therefore, we demand that our representatives at all levels of government vote against increasing the military budget and put those funds toward helping people in the U.S. instead of killing people abroad.

Project Blue Data Center

Passed July 21, 2025, unanimous

LD20 does not support Project Blue and we hope that Pima County Democratic Party (PCDP) does not support it either.

Support for a Ceasefire in Gaza

Passed November 20, 2023, 27 in support, 3 opposed, 6 abstain

LD20 calls for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and calls on Pima County Democrats and Arizona Democrats to do the same.

Unions

Passed October 23, 2023, unanimous

We the members of LD20 respectfully and vehemently support the rights of workers to unionize and the rights of unions to negotiate contracts on behalf of workers.
